Dr. L. Layne Drgac

Dr. L. Layne Drgac is a graduate of Texas A & M University, class of 1994. He attended dental school in Houston where he graduated from the University of Texas, Dental Branch of Houston in 1998. He has been practicing in Caldwell since 1999, and is a member of the Brazos Valley District Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Drgac’s family is originally from the Caldwell area. His grandparents owned and operated a dairy in Cooks Point. Dr. Drgac came back to Burleson County after graduating from Yoe High School in Cameron in 1990 and lived in Cooks Point while attending Texas A&M. This family history explains why he feels such a special bond with the people of this area,

Dr. Drgac is most excited about providing quality care to his patients here in Burleson County. He says, “There’s no need to drive to a larger city for dentistry anymore. Besides, who’s going to take better care of you? A person you see 2-3 times a year, or someone you see all the time around town, in church, etc.?”

Family is very important to Dr. Drgac. He loves to spend his free time with his wife, Nicki, and their three children: Dylan, Daleigh, and Delayni. Nicki is a hometown girl, graduating from Caldwell High School in 1991 and Texas A&M, class of 1995. They are so thankful to raise their family in this wonderful community!

Dr. Dylan Drgac

Dr. Dylan Layne Drgac grew up in Caldwell, Texas, where he graduated from Caldwell High School in 2014. He went on to attend college at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas. During his college career, he was a member of the TLU Bulldog Baseball team and was one of their starting pitchers for their National Runner-Up team in 2018.

Dr. Drgac graduated in 2018 from Texas Lutheran with a bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology. He then went on to attend UTHealth School of Dentistry at Houston, receiving the award for Most Outstanding Senior Dental Student before graduating in 2022.

Dr. Drgac has deep family roots in the Caldwell area. Both sides of his family, going back generations, are from Burleson County. He is excited to join the Drgac Dental practice, and work alongside his father serving friends and neighbors!

Dr. Drgac thoroughly enjoys sports and competition and is an outdoorsman at heart. He enjoys golfing on his day off, and knows the score of every football and baseball game on TV. When he has a free weekend, you can find Dr. Drgac duck hunting with his labrador, Ali, down at the farm trailing his next big whitetail, or catching largemouth bass. He is excited to get back to his roots with his move home to Caldwell.
